Bottle, courtesy of Erzengel, shared at Ganz with Gabor and Undos. Pours dark copper with an off-white head. Nose is bready and biscuity malts, light earthy notes, spice, caramel, and herbal touches. Taste is moderately sweet upfront, there’s caramel, bread, biscuits and toffee but at the same time there’s a firm bitterness for balance, with herbal, grassy and earthy notes. Light to medium bodied with an average carbonation. Tasty.

Schumacher Latzenbier, Fläschchen von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Dunkles Kupferrot, klar. (24.6.2022.)

Thanks to Erzengel! Pours a reddish amber thin, foamy head. Somewhat bubbly. Aroma of grainy, sweet malt, some raisin. Taste has mild spice notes, some caramel-sweetness, date fruit notes. Palate has lingering sweetness, rich malt body. Somewhat vegetal.
