Bottle shared at the Cotteridge Convention 2015. Thanks to Scoopy for this one. Pours black-brown with a foamy beige head. The aroma holds chocolate, roasted malts and dried dark fruits. Medium sweet flavor with oily chocolate, light earthy bitterness, some cocoa, more dark fruits. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dark fruits galore on the finish, more gooey chocolate mixed with baking cocoa, more earthy bitterness. Solid.

Bottle split at the Cotteridge Bash, 24/01/15 thanks to Andre via Scoopey. Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is dark toffee fudge, light cocoa tunes, sweet notes, vanilla. Taste comprises more rich toffee, light spice and charr, caramel, chocolate. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Dribkable enough but lacks depth for the style and ABV.

Thanks to the brewer who send it (on his own initiative) all the way from Portugal so that we could try it + Beerlover_Ben. 330 ml. bottle sampled @ RBBWG IV. Blackish, little head. Nose is sweet, malty, cold coffee, basic cholate. Taste is cold coffee, touch herbal, a touch watery, light roast, chocolate. Touch watery, lighter body. Good but not top but considering that this is from a country with no real tradition of specialty beer, I am quite impressed.
