Sample from 33 cl. bottle. Hazy, amber colour with a thin, off-white head. Fruity aroma with peaches, almond, caramel malts and grasses. Taste is bitter. Medium body with a creamy texture and a lively carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with tropical fruits. This has a lot of tropical fruits, actually - taste is more bitter than aroma might suggest.

Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 14A). Bottle 33 cl - batch L112149. AROMA: nice floral and fruity aromas with notes of passionfruit and citrus fruits. faint sweet malt background. APPEARANCE: light amber color and just slightly hazy. average off-white moussy head with good retention. TASTE: floral and somewhat fruity flavor, reminiscent of faint passionfruit notes and some citrus (orange-like). mild sweet malt background with a toffee like note. medium-high bitterness that lingers into a semi-dry finish and beyond. PALATE: medium-light body with average carbonation. no hop derived astringency. OVERALL: maybe the best portuguese craft IPA.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a delicious creamy and lacing off-white head. Fruity bubblegum aroma but I lack some crispy hops. Medium body, lovely fruitiness, the comes come more through flavour wise getting all tropical with a massive late bitterness. Work with the aroma - dryhoppimg - and this would be a very nice IPA. 100115

Bottle thanks to the brewer himself. Cheers Andre! It pours clear amber with a decent off-white. The nose is fresh, juicy tropical fruits, mango, passion fruit, tangerine, sherbet and candied fruits. The crisp, bitter, grapefruit peel, orange, resin, piney, leather, light caramel, pepper, some astringency and light alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Critics and very drinkable. Really nice IPA and easily the best Portuguese beer I have had to date.

Bottle shared at CBC Clerkenwell - thanka to Paul. Poirs clear, copper-gold with a frothy, off-white head. Lovely aroma with notea of ripe orane, melon, honeysuckle. Medium sweet flavor with dry pine, dried pale malts, orange rind. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish, more dry pine, mild herbs, more rind. Great nose, OK flavor.

Bottle by Cuso. Aroma hoppy, fruity, citrusy, light spicy, resiny. Almost clear orange-amber colour. Taste is initially sweet, moderate caramel, but at the same time thin bodied and the alcohol comes out a bit, mostly towards finish. Otherwise fruity resiny hoppiness. Good one, maybe needs a bit colder fermentation.

Bottle from trade with andrepintado, many thanks Andre. Unclear amber color with thick white head. Nice citrus hoppy aroma with floral notes. Solid malty base with caramel, followed by nice citrus hoppy kick with grapefruit zest, grapefruits, resin. Long hoppy bitter finish. Well done Andre.
