Orange gold color, with tiny chunks of yeast. Aprocot aroma. Hoppy, peppery flavor with apricot. Very fruity, slightly yeasty bitter aftertaste. Likeable, well made beer.

6 May 2018. At De Heeren van Liedekercke. Cheers to Anke's birthday!
Pours clear amber/orange with a lasting, frothy, off-white head, some lacing, but cloudy with all the sediment poured in - lots of floaties - and thus not very inviting. The aroma contains caramel, almond, red apple, light smoked malt, bread & dough, herbs. It tastes medium herbal bittery, bit yeasty, and light caramelly sweet, a bit (red) fruity. Dry, herbal finish, slightly metallic. Medium body, slick/creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Drinkable but needs some polishing.

Thanks! Sampled bottled @ BBF 2014. Clear dark orange, little head. Sweet soapy peach & chemicals nose. Taste is bitter soap, lavender, odd herbs, bread, sugar,… Oily body. Weird but more enjoyable than expected from these brewer(s).

7/II/15 - 33cl bottle @ Brugs Bierfestival - BB: n/a (2015-138) Thanks to the Belgian RB crew for sharing today's beers!
Clear orange beer, big creamy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: caramel, sweet malts, grains, bit yeasty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: little sour, sweet malts, some caramel, bit spicy. Aftertaste: spicy, yeast, little chemical, sourish touch, bit lemony, peaches. I'm sure that I've had this before, but apparently the notes never made it on-line... :o

Mild hefiger Antrunk, wenig nach Kräutern. Im Mittelteil trocken und metallern werdend, kaum noch Aromen, langweilig. 12/9/7/6//6

The amber in this series, with a yellowish white, mousse-like head and a kind of dirty, brownish amber colour, due to the yeast divided over the beer even after careful pouring - usually a bad omen in any type of bottle-conditioned ale that is not deliberately trying to be cloudy (like a Weizen). The nose gets caramel malt, walnut, apple, rhubarb, melon but also two chemicals that testify brewing faults, namely DMS (red cabbage) and H2S (rotten egg) - not very inviting, to say the least, and probably related to the brownish hue hanging over the beer. Taste a bready malty, yeasty and fruity, but also cardboard and quickly becoming sourish, as was to be expected - the beer is clearly infected. Ends in a kind of citric acidity with little hops. A beer teaming with brewing errors and in that sense an obvious failure.

@ The Capital, Leuven. Hazy amber colour, rocky white foam. Yeasty aroma with notes of citrus and malts. Light mettalic notes. Nothing special;

Trübes dunkel orangegelbes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht hopfig, würzig. Geschmack fruchtig nach Trauben, trocken, leicht herb.
