341mL bottle, pour a dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of coffee, light roast, not much else. Flavour of very light roasted coffee, light roasted and some metallic notes. Very light-bodied and watery - maybe the most watered down stout I've ever head, if you can even call this a stout. Pretty piss poor.

A deep brown stout with a thin off white head. Light coffee aroma with notes of olives amd cold coffee. In mouth, a nice coffee malt with bitter chocolate, a bit thin in mouth. Bottle from Ian. Nov. 3 tasting at Marc’s.

A complete disappointment, with a thin body, low carbonation and no noticeable hops

Almost black no head. Coffee evident, but the flavor profile is rather flat. A bit watery and not round enough.

I did not like the old Espresso Stout, but let’s give the new version a try. 2% Jazz is one of the most reputable coffee shops in Victoria, although I haven’t personally been there to verify its reputation. Dark brown body. Massive coffee aroma has a lot of chocolate character. The body has improved only slightly - it’s still a bit thin. This causes the coffee character to be more like a lame-o drip, which is too bad. There isn’t much character. The roast and chocolate make it more fun than the old stuff, but it’s still not really going to convert me.

fast fading head. Faintly roasted nose and taste. Too thin for stout........
