Lovely stuff. Fruit and tartness overwhelms the saison feel but it’s there. Touch of barrel perhaps. Good’un

Light haze on this magent beer, small but vibrant pink head. Light palate, fairly dry, decent fine carbonation. Tangy blueberry does battle with a robust tangy savoury vibe. Minerals. Light dry finish. Flavoursome but just a modicum of sweetness would have gone a long way here.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Hazed, dusky dark pink. Some fruity floaters. Just a wisp of off white head. Nose cheesy funk. Some fruit comes across more cherry than blueberry. Some medicinal notes, akin to sticking plaster. Taste is dry and tart. Minimal sweetness. Feels quite acidic. Very fine carbonation. Decent fruit on the finish, but it’s not their best of this kind.

Keg at kernel tap room bermondsey.. A mostly clear plummy red coloured pour with a lasting loose pinkish head. Aroma is horsey funk, tangy berries, dry funk, blueberry fruit,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, drying mellow funk, horse, brett, berry fruit, blueberry sweetness,. Mellow tang. Delicate stuff.. Palate is tangy, mellow easy going carbonation, drying finish.

Keg at Mother Arch #2, 19/12/19. Reddish amber pour with a decent off white to crimson cap. Nose is tangy berries, damp straw, lemon rind, farmyard esters. Taste comprises blueberry yoghurt, damp hay, barnyard, dusty fruits, lemon rind, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with an acidic tickle. Not bad but probably the weakest in the series for me.

Keg at Craft Beer Co. Covent Garden - London. Pours clear purple-red with a small, foamy topping. Nice musty funk, lightly tart blueberries, restrained acidity. Light to medium bodied with fine, spritzy carbonation. Brett-like funk in the finish, subtle bitter berry skins, more tart blueberries. Solid.
