From keg at The Dog & Bell, Deptford, 14.02.22. Cloudy pale straw colour. Small and diminishing white head. No lacing. Fine and slightly acid aroma and taste of brett, gueuze and bitter lemons. Dry mouthfeel and appropriately astringent aftertaste.

330ml bottle. Slightly milky, yellow-ish golden colour with small, frothy, fading, white head. Funky yeasty, vinous fruity and woody aroma, floral overtones, notes of white grapes, hints of melon, lychee, a touch of chamomile, calendula, orange blossom. Taste is dry, minimally tart, woody, tannic, vinous fruity, mildly funky yeasty, minimally floral, hints of white grapes, a touch of chamomile. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, soft to flat carbonation.

Bottle from Beer Gonzo. It pours golden - orange with a snall bubbly white. The aroma is bright and zingy, vibrant, orangey citrus, tangerine, sherbert, orange blossom, funky, lactic tang and oak. The taste is firmly dry, tart, puckering, zingy orange sherbet, tangerine, umquat, pithy, zesty, deep funk, barnyard, damp wood, granny smith apple and a splash of acidity with a funky finale. Medium body and light carbonation. Very quaffable stuff. Nice funky orange vibes.

Keg at Waterloo Tap. Sweet edged apple vinegar and vinous aroma. Pale opaque gold - almost a lime tint to it. Thin translucent white head - an archipelago. Heavy sourness. Dries the mouth out instantly. Vinous. Vinegary. Some latent fruit. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat-average carbonation. Dry - of course - and astringent lemon juice finish. A sipper. A tad raw.

Unexpectedly bright and clear gold beer, slightly pale, tiny pale cream colour head. Palate is light, fairly dry, a decent fine crispness. Thin malts make for a modest sweetness. A light and savoury lemon vibe, a touch of bitter lemon peel. Pleasing pinches of lemon sherbet and orange peel. Light and semi dry finish. Nicely lemon and savoury but for me the Ekuanot is a little out to sea here.
