10/07/2021: Shared with Dan and Grumbo at the Pre Euro 2020 final Share. Aroma of banana, herbs and bubble gum. Fruitiness is trying to come through on the taste with low carbonation. Not the best but not bad.

500 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Crystal clear deep golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of wheat malts, grain, dust, caramel, yeasty notes of banana and cloves. The flavour has notes of citrus, caramel and surprisingly distinct earthy and medicinal hops, hints of banana and cloves.

500ml stylish bottle bought at Gulating Ølutsalg in Bodø. Remaining white head, fair lacing, clear amber body. Moderate spiced fruity nose, mid-sweet. Ripe banana sweetness added by fruity wheat to the taste character. Rounded spiced fruity end, semi sweet. Just okay. (Bodø Panorama 04.12.2021).

[50cl bottle from a farm shop on the A11 near Royston.] A clear pale amber pour with a trace of white head; wheat aroma with some yeast and tropical fruit; pleasantly fruity banana and clove taste; with a dry wheaty finish. An elegant crystal style wheat beer.

Keg at the Jerusalem Tavern, Clerkenwell. Light to mid-gold, clear with a creamy white head. Very light aroma, some clove and cantaloupe with a harsh metallic flavour. Sweet taste with lots of dried banana. It tastes like a bit like a Hefeweizen but a tad more artificial. Heavy carbonation and a slight saccharine aftertaste. Needs work but enjoyable enough in its own right.
