Overall a nice and easy IPA, nothing too far off the mark, as the label says this is a well balanced IPA. Reminds me of Founders All Day. If the ABV was lower, in the 4.5% range then I would bet that this would be in the new Session IPA category. Easy drinking, nothing remarkable.

Bought this bomber at a gas station in ohio, for $2.99, great deal! Some fishy ipa aroma. First thirsty taste is not as bitter as I thought it would be. Seemed, at least, to be a little more enjoyable than the typical ipa, in a citrusy kind of way. Yes, fresh and not too medicinal. Long bitter ipa finsih, Ipa lovers will not be disappointed. Good example of a fresh IPA, although I could care less for this ubiquitous style. Had a very good puffy head that went rocky after a while. Did have some detectable co2 in there that saved it. Overall, better than the average IPA. JMHO.

(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 18 Jan 2014) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit, tea and fresh floral hops. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, grapefruit, caramel and fresh floral hops in a finish with a certain bitterness. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Fresh, tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Golden with a white head - Nice hoppy aroma with citrus and pine - A good malt body to support all the hops that has the flavours of citrus and a lot of pine - A very dry hoppy finish that lsts for a long time - This was good

Bottle. Clear light amber liquid with medium white head. Aroma of tangerine, flowers, sweet candy, caramel, mango and citrus. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter with notes of bread, citrus and tangerine. Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Quite good. Some higher alcohols.

22 ounce bottle. Pours a bright brassy gold color with a medium sized rocky white head. Caramel malt aroma with obvious pine and citrus hops. Bittersweet toasted malt flavor has a faint metallic nuance. Nicely balanced by spicy citrus hops. Finishes dry and spicy. Nicely balanced and flavorful. Overall, a nice tasting IPA. Pales somewhat to the hoppier West Coast examples.

Bottle, 12oz. It pours a finger-thick off-white head over a clear, dark golden body. The aroma is mostly on the hoppy side, only a few malty scents escape the glass. Pine cones and citrus peel dominates, and are in abundance, at least compared to most other beers I’ve had here in Houston. There’s a fine bitterness in the flavor, easily keeping the lightly biscuuity malts in the background. Pine cones and grapefruit peel too, leading to a mostly bitter finish. Nice lacings occur too. Definitely a nice one. 130829
