Gronckel Blond is een goudblond ambachtelijk bier van 6,5% ABV, dat smaakt als een picknick in het Pajottenland. Rijp graan mengt zich met wilde kruiden en weerbarstig hout, gevolgd door een fruitige hopsmaak, passievrucht, abrikoos, mandarijntjes en als afsluiter een twist van citrus. Volmondig maar niettemin een heerlijk frisse dorstlesser.

Bottle @ home shared with Inoven. Hazy yellow golden color, full sized off-white head. Aroma is mostly herbal / spices. Flavor is malts, again herbal / spices though not in a bad way, some yeast, somewhat sweetish like ripe mandarins but only shortly as soft to moderate citrussy fruity notes take over. Maybe even a slight citrussy bitter hint in the finish. This is quite an interesting beer I must admit. Didn't like the aroma much but the flavor makes up for that easily. Very well brewed imo. Definitely worth a try.

Flesje gedeeld door Benzai. Goudgeel troebel bier, heftig schuimend tijdens inschenken en schuim blijft uiteindelijk als een film liggen. Aroma is licht kruidig. De smaak is fruitig als van mandarijn en kruidig. Ook in de nasmaak komen de kruiden en de specerijen naar boven.

Gekregen van een collega op 21-4-2018. En thuis geproefd op 29-09-2018. Gronckel Blond is een helder blond biertje dat bij het uitgieten maar weinig wit schuim maakt in de vorm van een gelijkmatige laag. Het blijft sterk aan het glas kleven en zakt nogal vlug in elkaar, op het eind blijft er bijna niets meer van over. Toch is er veel CO2 pareling te zien met belletjes van een gemiddelde grootte.
Aroma: marsepein zoetig, met fruitigheid van citrus, passievrucht en perzik. Bisquit en graanmout.
De smaak is licht bitter en wat zoetig, fruitigheid krijg je met mandarijn en passievrucht, wat graanmout, jeneverbes en peper kan je smaken.
Kwa mondgevoel geeft Gronckel Blond een volle body met een volmondige textuur en een normale koolzuurgasbeleving. Je kan het een harmonieus biertje noemen.
De nasmaak vloeit uit, is lichtjes plakkerig, bitterig, zoetig en zeer licht droog. Ook de citrus, de mandarijn, de passievrucht de bisquit- en graanmout en de peper zijn hier nog aanwezig.

Pours a clear gold with some sticky white head. Nose is gristy, honey, lemon, candy, orange. Flavor has yeast, grist, dough, lemon, flowers, orange. Finishes spritzy and dry. Nice, quite malty. 7 4 7 4 13

33cl bottle. A clear golden beer with a huge most good lasting white head. Aroma of strong pale malt, riped yellow fruits, belgian yeast. Taste of yellow fruits, citrus, belgian yeast, mellow, stone fruits, not bad!

Pours hazy yellow with a big, collapsing, lasting, foamy, white head; little lacing. The aroma contains earth, wet leaves, some rainwater, yeast & wort, ripe banana, wheat, white bread, pinapple. It tastes medium malty sweet with hints of bread, dough & pineapple, and light grainy bitter, some hops & spice; maintaining a sourish back. Dry, earthy hoppy finish, bit wheaty & bready. Medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Unusual 'Belgian blond', quite earthy, not as fruity as it promises to be.

330 ml. bottle @ In de Verzekering tegen de Grote Dorst during Tour de Geuze 2017. Nice clear sparkling golden, creamy white head. Nose is soapy BE esters, grain, fluffy white bread in a good way. Sparkling good BE sugar, fluffy bread, near banana taste, low candy. Body is very solid, clean, lively. Very clean, good exercise in classical BE beer.

[ As Vrijstaat Vanmol Gronckel ].Unclear - hazy matt medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, minerals. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, fruity yeast - peach, witbier yeast, minerals. Bottle pour at the RateBeer Best 2017 Grand Tasting/Bottle Share. Hazy yellow with off-white head. Aromas of herbs, citrus, malt, hay. Tastes of citrus, straw, hay, herbs. Light body with a dry finish.
