Had this draft at Eetkaffee Multatuli, Gent, Sunday 18th October 2015. Pours yellow/gold in colour with a white head, it’s a little bit hazy. A touch sweet on the nose some spice but also a bit of honey. Good malty backbone, fruity, dry on the finish. Nothing so exciting but it’s pretty decent. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.3

Tasted at De Stokerij, one of only two establisments (both in Ghent and both from the same owner) who sell this; surprised to learn it isn’t brewed anymore, as I had this only a couple of months ago. I will go back soon to ask the staff there where it is brewed now, and then perhaps a new entry should be made for it here. Anyway: deep golden blond, hazy beer with stable, creamy, snow white head and an aroma of grapefruit, banana, grassy hops, bitter honey; dry apple-fruity onset, smooth, some yeastiness, pretty strong hop bitterishness in the finish, a bit tonic water-like, medium long. Nothing spectacular, but perfectly fit to quench the thirst while you’re waiting for your food on a summer afternoon in either of the two establishments.

Hazy blond/yellow colour. Medium carbonation. Easy drinkable beer. Taste is sweet with bitter dry finish.

Draft sample @ Eetkaffee Multatuli in Gent. Clear golden & white head. Nose is sugary, lots of esters, malty, slightly floral. Taste is esters, slightly floral, malty, BE yeast, sugary, zest, faint grass in the back. Easy to drink & dry. Pretty simple, well-done but I expected more character from De La Senne honestly, this tastes very general. It is pretty likely that they were just working on commission here. Still more than solid enough brew.

Clear yellow to bright orange beer, creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: fruity, floral hops, citrus, hint of exotic fruits. MF: ok carbon, full body. Taste: little sweet, lots of ripe fruits, peaches, sugary, citrus, nice grassy bitter hops. Aftertaste: dry and bitter hops, fruity, little yeasty, orange peel, zest, nice bitter dry ending.
