Bouteille: Golden, lively carbonation, clear, medium-sized white head, moderate fruity nose from tangerines, oranges and mild sugary-bisquity aromas; moderately sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; slight traces of alcohol in the sweet-sugary finish. Well made, but boring and monotonous....

12/VI/2012 - 75cl bottle from Makro (Eke) @ Klaas' place - BB: 25/XI/10 (2012-618)
Cloudy blond to light orange beer, nice white head, unstable, non adhesive, dissipates quickly. Some sediment floating around. Aroma: pretty sweet, some ripe banana, little soapy, flowers, sugar. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sweet, ripe banana, some citrus, bitter hops, overripe fruits, bready touch. Aftertaste: some citrus, green banana, herbal bitterness but still pretty sweet.

Cork and caged brown 0.75 litre bottle, best before Sep 2011, drank and reviewed 21 Feb 2011. Poured in one go (into three different glass) to minimise the sediment movement. The first two glasses were clear (almost) and the third with a true cloudy body. The colour was typical Belgian Blonde, meaning a pale yellow with a lemony hue. On top a quickly fading head of white bubbles, large at first, but soon only a wisp and collar. The aroma was yeasty with some citrus fruit hints and a malty, biscuity undertone. The taste was a mix of the semi-sour citrus fruits and a semi-sweet floral flavour. The yeast esters turning towards a wheat, almost grainy feel. Well carbonated and nicely presented, this however is just a ’run of the mill’ Belgian beer, pleasant more than brilliant.

75cl bottle, BB 17-11-2013.

It’s a decent scoring beer. The bottle is very stylish though. The beer is okay on all fronts.

750 with a clamped cork from Oak Tree. Pours hazy gold with a 3 finger foamy off-white head. Aromas of light malt, honey?, and light stone fruits and citrus, wih something spicey/grassy. Med body. Flavor is lightly woody, with pale fruits and some floral hop. Just a touch of herb/grass. Definitely on the dry side, nicely floral, a little kandi on the sidelines, and some pleasant, likely noble type, hop. Finishes bitterish, but pretty well balanced with kandi/honey coming back. Mouthsmacking.
