Can. A more or less still one, black and headless. The aroma has lots of alcohol, chocolate and a good dash of coffee and roasted malts. Vanilla, peanut and some toffee. It's full-bodied, warming and sweet, with lots of dark malt flavors. Toffee, chocolate, some dark dried fruit and soy notes, peanut, a good dash of alcohol, and some generic nuttyness. Vanilla, raisin, licorice. Lasting malty finish. A bit too alcoholic this one, but sure nice. 240706

Can. Pours black with a small head. Aroma is heavy on the peanut butter, dark malts, chocolate, cacao. Medium to big body. Flavour is malty and very sweet, loads of peanut butter and cacao, chocolate, caramel, vanilla. Beautiful pastry stout, very sweet but great combination of flavours.

Brownish black, near flat. Smell is savoury, rich, soft peanut butter. Lovely smooth, with a warming booze. Taste is nicely subtle, stout foremost with some good roastyness. Peanut butter and chocolate in the back, caramel in the finish. Lovely balance.

Can from Struise online shop. Cloudy black, thinning, beige head. Aroma of peanut butter, hazelnut paste, chocolate powder, biscuit, caramel candy, cappuccino, vanilla sauce, cashew. Taste has very sweet candied date, milk chocolate & peanut butter, a dash of caramel sauce; that sweet maltiness is toned down a bit by more dry peanutty, hazelnutty, almost cashew-like hints; slightly bitter cappuccino in the middle with a powdery feel. Earthy, herbal hoppy finish, lingering chocolate powder, peanut & vanilla, warming cream liqueur alcohol but still decently hidden. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Very sweet Stout in the end but the nutty flavours providing enough balance. Heavy drinker, beware.

330ml can. Super sweet, syrupy and burnt roasty with some nutty notes, peanut butter, vanilla and chocolate. A bit too burnt and sweet.

Plakzooi. Ook weer veel te overdreven. Het basisbier kan het beter aan dan bijvoorbeeld die dessert in a can meuk, maar ook dit is ongebalanceerd. Lekker voor 2 slokken.
