Aroma is dark, roasted malts with cocoa, vanilla, coconut and sweet coffee, as well as muscovado, liquorice, marzipan, salty caramel and wooden barrels. Creamy, velvety body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is roasted malts with coffee, dark chocolate, coconut, vanilla and peanuts, as well as muscovado, liquorice and wooden barrels. Big, bold and oozing of alcohol. Sometimes more is just enough.

From bottle at Bøker&Børst with BHK after seeing The Personal History of David Copperfield with BHK 06.09.20. Ebony. No head. Aroma and taste of brittle, dark chocolate, coffee, dark caramel and pine and grapefruit bitterness which is lingering on. Medium low carbonation.

Can. Black color with off-white head. Aroma is huge peanuts, cocoa, vanilla, not too sweet in the aroma yet though. Taste is all the labeled adjuncts, mild cereals, dark chocolate, a hint of roast, not too bold, the peanuts give the right amount of adstringency to take it. Sparkly-ish carbonation. Doesn't feel as bold as other pastry stouts of this calibre, and that's what I like about it. Cheap lunch indeed! Bonus for schlankheit.

BB 13.05.2025. black color, small coffee colored head. smells of peanuts, vanilla, fudgy, marzipan, nutty. nice to very nice smell, rather gimicky. full body, soft carbonation. tastes of peanut butter, some sweetness, light soy, vanilla, nutty, marzipan, berry notes. finishes sweet with notes of vanilla, marzipan and some fudgy notes. rather nice one, vanilla and peanuts a bit too dominant, but overall quite nice. 8, 4, 7, 3, 17

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, a few short lived tan bubbles. Smooth light palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth dark chocolate malts, very nice. Good salted caramel vibe with a whisper of peanut. A little spice and ripe fruits on the soft rich finish. There is a little warmth here but nothing commensurate with it's heavy abv. Good chocolate liqueur on the back end. Spicy dark chocolate linger. Rich and rewarding!

Lata 33 CL de Vivalabirra tomada en Belmonte 12..06..2020. Lote 13032017;41 fcpref 13..03..2025 en fondo lata. (r07). Con repetir los ingredientes ya bastaria para calificar este cerbezon. Clarobesta para los amantes de las pasteladas de chocolate, caramelo y cacahuetes. Todo lo que pone la etiqueta claramente definido en sabores y perfectamente combinado.. Nobhay mas. Imprescindible. Color negro intenso con espuma beige oscuro que desaparece al poco tiempo casi por completo. Sabores intemsos y marcados desde el principio. Cuerpo intenso, sedoso, denso, fino. De trago corto. Imprescindible. Para repetir sin duda alguna.

Pours black, Small, darkly tanned head fades within seconds to zero. Scent is medium intense on the peanut butter, mild boozyness. Taste is full, chocolate, peanut butter, caramel is mild, but present. Decently boozy, not too much though. Very nice pastry stout. Sweet, but not overkill.
