Celebrating that Dugges in the year 2020 is turning 15 years old we’ve brewed 3 very special beers. This is 15 Sour! A sour beer with 15 different fruits. We’ve put pineapples, oranges, blueberries, lemons, elderberries, raspberries, strawberries, cherries, mandarins, mangoes, passion fruits, peaches, plums, pears, and apples in there. One for each year that we've existed as a brewery. Fruit punch!
An Englishman Walks Into a Bar.
In 2002 Mikael Dugge Engström, the founder, CEO and Brew Master of Dugges Bryggeri, had a meeting with an Englishman. What was said at the meeting has long since been forgotten. What was said at the following pub visit is why Mikael in 2004 started Dugges and why we are here today, 15 years on.
This beer, and the two other beer that make up this series is a ’Thank you’ to everyone who’s supported us by enjoying our beers since that first ever mash-in by Mikael Dugge Engström 15 years ago. We raise our glasses for you.

Bottle at hazy reddish orange, nose is pear, pineapple, strawberry, funk, taste is tart fruit, sweet, juicy.

330ml bottle sophiesbeerstore.co.uk. Unclear purple, no real head to speak of. Aroma has indistinct plump berry fruits. Lightly tart on the palate, gentle kettle sour, immediate impressions are of blackcurrant berocca and ribena. Good refresher, but expected a little more fruit definition and complexity.

Bottle at home picked up from Beer 52. A light hazed peachy reddy pink coloured pour with a fading off white fizz. Aroma is big sweet jolly rancher, watermellon flavouring, fruit punch, raspberry, sticky. Flavour is composed of super sour, citric acid lemon, raspberry, underripe pinepaple, fizzy berry shurbet. Palate is semi sweet and sour, highish prickly carbonation. Fun, little muddled.

330ml bottle via Beer52; BB 1st Apr 2021. Drank at home on 5th Jun 2020. 15 different fruits involved! Red/dark pink body, wispy pink topping. Raspberries and Cherries led the way aroma wise and the Raspberries tried to take over the taste too. Good tart beer and not as 'sour' as the name indicates.

Foamy pink hued head left a reddish still body. Big fruity aroma with strawberry & cherry. Medium to thin bodied, sharp on the front with a dry clean back. Strawberry, cherry, banana & loads of fruity tastes.
