Bottle shared at home, cellared this one for over 2 years. Érdekesen fanyar, amúgy erősen étcsokis, földes, kávés, melaszos. Némileg oxidálódott az évek alatt, de kifejezetten jól állt neki.

From bottle at Mout Bierfestival Nijmegen 2020. Aroma is roasted malt with juniper, chocolate, spicy notes, berries, pine tree. Medium sweet flavour with a roasty bitterness. Medium to full body. Intriguing 'Forest Stout'.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma of roasted malts, berries, chocolate, slightly nutty and ashy. The roasted finish and the berries are prominent at the end. Decent.

Weird vibe here. I guess that's the juniper and Rowen berries. Roast and coffee. Black pour with decent head. Some caramel. Bittersweet finish. Tap at Sergios.

Flasche 0,33l: Schwarz, kräftige Trübung, mäßig stabiler mittelporiger beiger Schaum; süße + sehr würzige Nase, dunkle Schokolade, Vanille, Zimt, Wacholder, dunkle/getrocknete Beeren, Röstmalz, Malzzucker, dunkles Karamell, Laktose, Haselnüsse, Kaffee, würzig-süße Bitterkeit; sehr süßer + sehr würziger Körper, kräftige Röstaromen, Gewürze, etwas Tabak, eingelegte/getrocknete Früchte, dunkle würzige Beeren, Röstmalz, Malzzucker, dunkles Karamell, cremig, moderate Kohlensäure, Bitterschokolade, Kakao, Haselnussschalen, würzige Holzigkeit; süßlich-würziger Nachgang

Odd bird of a beer, with an initial hit of tart berry acidity, then loads of unsweetened chocolate, anise, molasses, followed by pine bitterness and a woody funkiness and that tastes kinda like, well, dog. Interesting, but, man the finish is weird.

Bottle. A- Old tea leaves, smoke, char, mild incense, molasses, tobacco. A- Black color, black liquid, minimal brown head. T- Smoke, umami, charred wood, mild dark chocolate, faint dark berries, pine resin, molasses, tobacco. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, roasty finish. O- This was one of the best beers I've had in some time. I did want more juniper influence as the smoke really did take on a big role and overpowered a bit. I know it's no longer a brew but man I'd love to find a couple of bottles. Great.

Bottle. Black beer with a low brown head. Berry and citrus aroma with light chocolate. Chocolate and berry flavor with light citrus, light toffee, and light smoke. Medium-plus bodied. Chocolate and berry linger with light citrus, light smoke, and light toffee.

Bottle, 330 ml, shared with Max and Miro B. Dark brown with beige head. Chocolate, cocoa, sweet, caramel, tad bitter. Not much going on in finish. Medium bodied.

4/3/2022. Bottle from Beerdome online store. Pours black with a small bubbly beige head. Aroma of chocolate, berries, roasted malt, dried fruits, juniper edge. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with a hint of sour. Quite full bodied, slick, soft carbonation.
