Bottle shared at home, cellared this one for over 2 years. Érdekesen fanyar, amúgy erősen étcsokis, földes, kávés, melaszos. Némileg oxidálódott az évek alatt, de kifejezetten jól állt neki.

From bottle at Mout Bierfestival Nijmegen 2020. Aroma is roasted malt with juniper, chocolate, spicy notes, berries, pine tree. Medium sweet flavour with a roasty bitterness. Medium to full body. Intriguing 'Forest Stout'.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma of roasted malts, berries, chocolate, slightly nutty and ashy. The roasted finish and the berries are prominent at the end. Decent.

Weird vibe here. I guess that's the juniper and Rowen berries. Roast and coffee. Black pour with decent head. Some caramel. Bittersweet finish. Tap at Sergios.

Odd bird of a beer, with an initial hit of tart berry acidity, then loads of unsweetened chocolate, anise, molasses, followed by pine bitterness and a woody funkiness and that tastes kinda like, well, dog. Interesting, but, man the finish is weird.

Bottle. A- Old tea leaves, smoke, char, mild incense, molasses, tobacco. A- Black color, black liquid, minimal brown head. T- Smoke, umami, charred wood, mild dark chocolate, faint dark berries, pine resin, molasses, tobacco. P- Full body, average texture, average carbonation, roasty finish. O- This was one of the best beers I've had in some time. I did want more juniper influence as the smoke really did take on a big role and overpowered a bit. I know it's no longer a brew but man I'd love to find a couple of bottles. Great.
