Bottle @ Drink Rich’s American beer, thanks to Omgrich. Dorée, léger voile, pas de col. Profil reste sec avec une pointe de boisé/chêne, léger fruité gardant ce profil similaire à la version lambic qui tire vers le cidre. Le tout reste aigre-doux. A le mérite d’être agréable à boire sans tomber dans le côté wild-brett des bières américaines, mais on reste très loin d’une gueuze belge.

15/VIII/15 - 75cl bottle @ We're drinking all of Rich's American beers tasting - BB: n/a, 2011 vintage (2015-1064) Thanks to omgrich for sharing the bottle!

Clear pale blond beer, no head. Aroma: little funky, sourish, quite some chlorine (which usually only appears in sours with fruit). MF: light to no carbon, medium body. Taste: little bitter, funky, watery, weird. Aftertaste: some tannins, dry, bit funky, watery finish. Pretty weak...

2 Bombers acquired in a Rivertown sours trade back in 2012. Traded one away, drinking the other finally. Stoked to try this as their blackberry sour was very nice. golden pour, 3 finger fluffy head that faded to almost nothing. Very funky with a light sweetness, hints of balsamic, peach and wood with intense sour lemon. Taste is very acidic, sharp and quite sour. I should learn my lesson to stop aging american wilds. It has a nice funk factor but ultimately is very thin and not that exciting of a beer. Not sure this should be in the Gueuze category. No mention of spontaneous fermentation.

Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head that evaporates steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of tart fruit, straw and spices. Light to medium body with flavors of tart cherries, vinous oak and mild spices. The finish is tart with a cherry and citrus aftertaste. Pretty good all around.

22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Nose is fairly funky, with light citrus and farmhouse notes. Flavour brings out citric notes, moderate acidity, and very light funk. Finishes on acidic, vinous notes. Certainly not like an authentic gueuze by any means, but pretty nice sour.

750 mL bottle shared with Ale Alpharetta. Pours clear yellow, with practically no head. The aroma is lemon juice, barnyard funk, wheat, and cardamon. Citrus sweetness up front, with a big, enjoyable sour bite. Light body, very acidic and astringent, crisp, and clean. Overall, this is delicious, very sour beer. Not terribly complex, but pleasant.

Bottle Thnx to 77 ships . Pours fuwwy orange, no foam Smell is acid , oaky , funk Taste is very , very dry . Sour, funk , oak , brett . In the aftertaste it is very resembling to a ’ real ’ Belgian geuze ’ . Bit too high carbo in comparancy to the body . Good, not great

750 cl. bottle obtained in a trade with AdamJackson. Thanks. Shared with Kraddel. 2011 Vintage. Poured myself almost a full pint from this bottle. Head disappears so quickly that it isn’t worth mentioning. What remains is a murky dark orange liquid that makes me think of unblended lambiek. Smells of water funk and barnyard that is totally lambiek but overall it is a bit weak and watery, juicy peaches and apricots are blended in, hay,… Tastes somewhat watery with real lambiek funk mixed with apricots plus carrot juice and multifruit juice, light funk, touch white pepper, barn and hay bitter but only very lightly, funky, some malts. Little carbonation; This makes me think of a weaker unblended lambiek which is hilarious because I have had the Rivertown lambiek and it was better than this which is just bizarre. This is nice and quite enjoyable, taking rarity and everything into consideration this is just a bit silly.

Refrigerated 75 cl brown bottle poured into a tulip. Pours hazy golden with small white head. Light tart aroma, medium body, low carbonation, and some thin small bubble lacing. Taste is tart, some lemon, some oak, and some granny smith apples. Not bad, but I prefer their Lambic.
