510 ml bottle. pours black with moderate light tan head. Aromas of creamy coffee, nutty chocolate and roasted malts. Rich flavors follow same with bitter dark, almost smoky chocolate. Very good, especially for the ABV. Solid porter…

Bottle thanks to Billy. It pours jet black with a handsome white head. The aroma is dark roasted malt, dark chocolate, cacao nibs, restrained smokiness, tobacco, nutty, praline, slightly charred, umami and liquorice. The taste is dry, rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, smoked malts, lightly smouldering bonfire, some toasty spice, dark chocolate, cacao nibs, umami, liquorice, rocky road, touch of treacle toffee, rocky road and a nip of booze. Finish is dry, smokey and roasted malt. Fulsome body and moderate carbonation. Robust and flavourful. Very nice for the style.
