Backlog September 2011. Dark brown body under a dense brown head. Aroma has dark malt, alcohol and dry fruit. Taste is Sweet and malty, not very roasted, some dry fruit, alcohol and medium bitter. Fine body and same aftertaste that feels a bit more bitter than first impression. Solid.

Definitely past it's prime but still good carbonation. Lots of brown sugar, light cardboard hops and sugar sweetness. It's barely hanging on but it is still drinkable. --- Beer merged from original tick of Batch 9,000 on 03 Sep 2019 at 13:14 - Score: 7

Bottle from callmemickey, thanks! Deep dark brown color. Roasted malt, maple syrup, dried fruit and licorice in the aroma. Sweet, warming alcoholic flavor with bourbon notes. Maple syrup. Soft roasty notes. Sweet but powerful.

Kenny's Deep Cellar Bottle consumed at L42. It pours opaque brown - black with a bubbly tan head. The aroma is rich, oily, sweet, dried fruits, vanilla, chewy maltage, heavy sweet molasses vibes and cocoa. The taste is slick, oily, fruity vibes, boosty warming alcohol, toasted coconut, leather, spice, rocky road, molasses and earthy roast. Finish is heavy and has some spice on it. Full body and fine carbonation. Oily mouth - feel. Pretty intense still. Not bad.

Huge thanks to Erzengel for sharing! Pours dark orange brown colour with a huge most good lasting tan head. Aroma of sweet dark malt, red fruits, cinnamon and wood. Taste of dark red fruits and malt, toffee, some liquorice, wood, some alcohol, quite interesting!

Many thanks to nimbleprop, my "Secret" Santa 2016 for this bottle. Intense dry roasty and slightly alcoholic nose. Deep intense beginning with roasted sweetish liquorice, sticky malt and not too sweetish, more dry, in the aftertaste. Round fruity - plums, dark cherries, great deep malt. Fascinating deep and smooth.

Bottle share from Jake. Another well aged stout. Dancing on the border of sweetness, it comes off as a welcoming and warming, slightly syrupy brew.
