[10/9/13] Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas in Brussels. Dark brown with a bubbly beige head. Aroma of chocolate, some nuts and some roastiness. Bittersweet roasty flavor, nutty, with some chocolate and a drier finish with some bitterness. Quite nice.

Draft @ ML Fontainas. Note chocolatée moyenne procurant un côté amer subtile.

25 cl. draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Keg. Don’t think that this was cask, didn’t feel like cask at all. Dark brown black with some disappearing beige bubbles. Nose mild-style sweet mocha, chocolate, chestnuts & dark nuts. Taste seems pretty typical for a mild, mocha, grainy, bubbly chocolate, some yeast, chocolate & dark nuts. Nuts, touch grainy & light charcoal. Lovely mild, really wish I would come across this style far more often.
