Bottle from Delices and Caprices. Lovely De La Senne aroma, Belgian yeastiness, lightly herbal, citrus in the way that XX Bitter is. Taste is great, fruity, peach, little bit of citrus, herbal crispness, bitter finish. Light creaminess. --- Beer merged from original tick of Gray Jacket on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 9 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 9. Bottle in NH - likely picked up from Julio's. Pours mostly clear copper-gold with a frothy cap. Certainly has some oxidation, nips of caramel, sun-kissed wheat, pale grains, straw, yeast. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. More lightly toasted wheat flakes in the finish, nips of honey and caramel, bread, Belgian yeast. Fun stuff. Has aged nicely.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Yeast and light grapefruit aroma. Summer fruit and light grapefruit flavor with yeast and spice. Medium bodied. Yeast and spice lingers with summer fruit.
