Bottle at Johan’s place. Lemony citra nose, grass, bread. Cloudy gold with fine lace. flavors of orange, lemon, minerals, some mango, bread. clean, bready malt. A bit thick. Nice.

75CL bottle at home, Dark orange beer with a large white head, aroma was hoppy and citrus, taste had a medium bitterness, Good beer, but why does it have to be in a 75CL bottle ? one other plus note, my grandmother liked the beer also.

Blond amber colour, a lot of foam. Very well balanced beer. A bit sweet and bitter dry finish. Aroma of grapefruit, apple, flowers. Very well done.

75cl bottle split wth Tomaz @ home. Orangée, col épais crémeux beige-blanc cassé. Arôme est herbacé et tropical donnant des notes de pamplemousse, fleuri, le tout domine un bouquet très agréable. Palais est ici aussi fruité et tropical, allant entre le melon, citron vert et pamplemousse. Amertume modérée, fleuri et agrumes pour un houblon qui est mis à l’honneur. Le tout est bien placé avec un profil malté pils-munich qui laisse la place à ce houblon citra pour vraiment briller dans cette bière.

75 cl. bottle sampled courtesey of Kraddel. Clear orange with an unstable fluffy white head. Lovely full citra nose on this one, lovely, lots of citrus on this one, light lemon, touch grapefruit etc. with some caramel / milky sweetness underneath. Taste is touch tuned down, sweeter caramel, toffee, touch honey, flowers, citrus, grapefruit, creamy citra, light root bitter. Creamy body – quite enjoyed this one unlike the other two of this series.

Pours orange , fluffy white foam Smell is VERY citrusy Jigh carbo , but still ok bitter , cittusy taste , very refreshing . Very nice but this kind of hops is just soo good in between other hops . A single hop is rather ... ’ normal ’ ( not shockingly good’ yetvi still like this a lot

Bottle sample at a tasting at the new Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks beerandbeyond. Hazy golden. Lovely hoppy aroma full of overripe tropical fruits. Dry-ish flavor with lots of fruity hops and pleasant lingering bitterness.

Medium, very fine and dense, lighlty yellowish head, rather stable over veiled orange-ochre beer. Nose yields subsequently dry heather, fruity (berries), valerian/blackcurrant leaf, dry hopbales; citrus... if you want, yes. Very dry, bitterish to bitter hopflavour; again valerian/catty. Bitterish rootspices. Retronasal, again faint citrus. Feels quite carbonated; medium bodied at best. Aftertaste has more outspoken, if indifferent bitterness. This one indeed closely resembles the Mikkeller Hop Series Citra. Same cattiness - I am surprised Duvel/Moortgat managed to avoid this aspect of Citra in their DTH. Overall, quite unidimensional, and not very exciting.

Clear orange beer, small irregular off-white head, little stable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of passion fruit, sweet pineapple, lychees in cans, very sweet ripe fruits. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: quite some citrus, bit piny, resinous, passion fruits, lychee, ripe mango, little sourish. Aftertaste: bitter, exotic fruits, some grapefruit, citrus, zesty, lemon grass, nice sour and bitter ending. Wow. De Proef has done it again!
