This one pours like a hazy Summer’s afternoon and smells of mint, cut grass, malt, dirty socks and a little seawater. The flavour is quite mild, with citrus flavours dominating the malt. It’s a very tangy palate which is surprising considering the lack of carbonation. It seems to be a little over-rated for mine. Maybe it didn’t travel well across the seas? Squealer from Prince Wine Store Essendon

Draft tasting glass @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Pours a very hazy golden with a creamy white head. Nose carries very clear USA hops, lightly fruity not extremely overt, lots of citrus hops, presumable C hops, sweet yeasty, light banana, touch white sugar but overall clearly USA style hoppy. Taste is bitter sharp citrus hops, strongly bitter, esters, light sweet malts, esters, lots of citrus in here, light caramel and sugar sweetness and lightly sharp spices. Lightly hazy body and fittingly sharp carbonation. Lovely and could be a great session beer.

Tap @ Hoppy Loft, Brussels. Effervescence moyenne.

On tap at CBI on 24th February 2013. Hazy amber with gold thin lasting ring & film giving spot lacing. Grapefruit and lemon aroma. Rich citric tang in-mouth; touch of savoury salt. Hoppy citrus grapefruit end with bitterness developing. Zingy mouthfeel and fair body. Loved it.

Tap at Craft Clerkenwell, 22/02/13. Hazed mid amber with a decent white head that retains well. Nose carried a touch of damp cloth initially but this gave way towards caramel malts, hops, pine, citrus. Taste is caramel malt forward, candied sugars, hops, citrus, sticky mango, orange, pine. Medium bodied with bite, light prickly carbonation but pitched well for the style, bitter sweet in the finish. Very tasty APA.

Pours amber with a lasting head.Very fruity aroma with lychees, peach, mango and fruit confectionery. Also a fair bit of sweet malt with some cookie dough characters.Very similar flavours. A little less fruit with a bit of pine and grapefruit instead.Nice moderate carbonation works well.
