Pours a hazy darkish orange with a white head. Aroma is caramel malt, yeast, light citrus, some spice. Medium body with flavors of lightly toasted malts, a small amount of citrus hops.

33cl Brown bottle, brewed at the Ourdaller Brauerei in Heinerscheid, which has something to do with Simon! This beer was best before 9th May 2011, it was reviewed on 28th Jan 2011 during my random weird beer tasting evening. Poured into a Duvel glass, it produced no head, just a wispy half covering and a weak collar. The beer was a murky, dull, dirty orangey brown colour. To be fair I did allow the sediment to leave the bottle and enter my glass. The smell was strange, fresh fruity, yet with a stale feel, hops and malts in there somewhere, but not blending too well. In short, the beer gave off a ’I’m not ready to be opened yet, the cabbage hasn’t cooked’ sort of aroma. Sadly the taste followed the smells too much and I struggled to enjoy the experience. It just didn’t add up to a good brew, lacking flavours, body and a purpose. If I was to pick a flavour it would be old boiled vegetable water with alcohol added. Brewed with Buckwheat apparently, didn’t help it one bit! The worst beer by far of my tasting evening.

Laff herber Beginn mit nur langsam aufkommender Karamelligkeit, die aber ziemlich trocken wirkt. Geringe Kräuternoten, wässrig, ziemlich langweilig. So bleibt das Bier bis zum Schluss. 12/8/8/6//6

Bottle. Sweet orange and buckwheat aroma. Hazy orange-brown color with minimal head. Sweet orange peel, nutmeg, and grainy malt flavor. Decent body. Very nice - one of the best Luxembourger bottled beers.

bottle. Cloudy brown colour with a mid-sized fluffy head. Fruity-grainy nose. Medium-bodied, malty background with a fruity touch, pleasantly grainy and yeasty with a lovely bitter touch in the lingering finish. I liked it!

A golden ale with a thin off white head. A nice aroma of cherries and light lactic points, vinegar, rather pleasant. In mouth, a nice sourness, refreshing, with sour cherries. A good flemish sour, if this is what its supposed to be. Tasted at Mondiale 2007.

Bottled, alc. 6.5% (BB 09/2007)
Amber color, steady creamy beige head. Organic-like wheaty nose, a bit like in spelt beer, propably it is from buckwheat, slightly sour. Foamy mouthfeel, some sweetness, similar sourness than in their wheat beer. With yeast it has softier palate.
