Nose is acidic, with subtle rhubarb, slight cellar and straw notes more in keeping with a saison than an IPA - it really called to mind Duvel. Taste is not particularly rhubarb, more of a general fruit and berries notes leading to some citrus and tart notes. There was very little hop notes and a short tacky finish. Mouthfeel crisp and fizzy. A strange beer that was not an IPA for me. Looking at the reviews there seems to be very different experiences and I wonder if there is consistency issues.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein leicht trübes goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv exotisch fruchtig. Geschmack malzig fruchtig. Angenehme exotisch fruchtige herbe.

bottle from Saveur-Biere. Deep golden colour, large white head. Aroma of hopy and fruit. Full-bodied, solid and intensive malty base that complements the fruity hoppy flavours. I would say I could detect rhubarb, but a shy sourness is present in the beer. All in all, a very well balanced combination of sour flavours with citrusy hops.

Bottle. Pours hazy light golden with a big creamy head. Aroma is sweet hops with lots of fruitiness from peach and rhubarb. Creamy body with average carbonation. Flavour is quite bitter and nice fruity yeast with notes of peach and berries. Quite nice tartness in an almost saison-ish finish.

Palate: Medium to full body. Slightly sweet, and a rich bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Citric hoppy, rich fruity and a fine mild malty back.
Overall impression: Nice tasty fruity ipa.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours hazy yellow with a frothy white head. Aromas of freshly cut rhubarb. Taste has more rhubarb and a sweet white sugar note. Finishes a bit thin, but nice enough.

Bottle from Brewharf, Stoney Street, Southwark, London in company of Loz & Ang, Saturday 14th December 2013 More subtleness from the rhubarb than I expected and a little sweeter as well. Sweet rhubarb nose picked up more by Loz and Ang than me, in the mouth a good tang and real fuzz. Golden in colour with white head, yep the rhubarb is there but I had visions of a more acidic sour style beer, but this is good. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Bottle at home, 6th December 13. Pours a nice looking drink, aroma slightly muted, sour notes and some hops. Taste is yeasty, sour, rhubarb, some sweet balance. Good and unusual
