Little bottle thanks to seabass. Pours out a hazy pale straw topped with a soap head. Nose is bread little yeast and touch of hops. Taste is as the nose with a nice bread and bit of bitterness on the end.

Yellow hazy colour, white foam. Complex aroma. Dry and bitter beer with loads of refreshing hops. Easy drinkable.

Bottle shared with Joes @ Van Moll Brewpub. Hazy a bit pale yellow color, full sized white head that lasts for quite a while. Smell and taste lightly malts, hops, nicely bitter, grassy, slightly a herbal touch. Fizzy carbonation, decent body. Ok beer, but I’m not impressed. Nice and fresh, but I’ve had better beer from this style.

Towering yellowish head, slowly collapsing over fully hazy straw-yellow to orange beer; shards of lace. Fresh hops, but also wholemeal flakes, unripe banana. Sweetish, even slightly malty, but with the hops arriving in the finish. Yet not truly a hopmonster. Quite herbal/garden weeds or raw vegetables. Quite slick, yeast slickness, medium to good carbonation. Dry hopflavours keep lingering, long aftertaste. Very good, predictable collaboration result MG/dlS. But really new, it isn’t.

2 * 33 cl. bottles @ ’t Antwaerps Bierhuyske. Great label. Hazy orange with a big creamy, very slowly sinking but solid still white head. Smell & taste are basically Taras Boubla with some extra hops added with citrus qualities, Citra + something else? I am not good at naming hops. Smell is the new hops upfront, citrus hops, plenty of lemon peel, soft fruity followed by the Taras Boulba hops, nicely raw grass, white pepper, green, totally dried out. Very dry, clean beer with starch-like yeast feel to it, soft summer citrus upfront, plenty of lemon peel, followed by drying out, white pepper, grass, lots of peel, green,… A wonderful collaboration by these two incredible breweries, I think that Taras Boulba is a near perfect beer & some additional hops don’t take anything away from it & give it a nice variation.

Bottle @ Bierhuyske Pours fuzzy blonde, good white head. smell is aroma hops . I’ma take a shot in the dark here and guess citra and amarillo . Taste is bitter , some green aspect, aromahops, but nothing like an American IPA . Get some hay factors, but they dont bother me . Very intresting and full taste. even though i’m not the bigest fan of Taras Boulba , I do get the fuzz about this one . This has an enormous amount of taste, in aftertaste and body , its gives away some wattery-factors becouse of the 4,8 ABV , but tastewise ? this can stend to something with double ABV , easely . Very good one ! .

Very pale, very light blond with soapy head. Strong hop oils in the aroma. Smells very green and fresh. Initially lots of bitter hops. Later a touch more fruitiness and citrus comes through but not much. A lingering but not overpowering bitterness in the aftertaste makes this a rather sessionable IPA.

Bouteille 33cl, BB 06/02/2015.
