33 cl bottle at In ’t Kruisken (Lier). Pours pale amber. Head is off-white and very thick. Aroma is Danish cookies, orange, butter. In the mouth it feels wide, mouth-covering, slightly sour. Medium-lasting finish without much bitterness.

Anaranjada turbia. Aroma a naranja. Sabor malteado con bastante contrapunto de naranja y bastante equlibrio entre dulce y amarga. Buen cuerpo y sabor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draught at Novare Res, 5/17/15
Mostly clear, deep brassy-amber body is topped by a small white head with moderate to low retention.
I’d always wanted to try something from this brewery, but haven’t read anything overly outstanding about them, and after a few sniffs from the glass, I wasn’t feeling too optimistic. Sweetbreads, light cake icing and near-spoiled peaches, with some rustic earthiness all lead me to believe I was in for an underfermented journey...Granted, the alcohol wasn’t too apparent, nor were there any raw/fusel-like notes or horribly offensive esters (not a nose full of bubble gum/cotton candy), though the peachy notes were a bit off-putting....
And yes, sweet in flavor it certainly was, though there was something a touch endearing that somewhat saved the experience. Bready flavors and sweet honeyed malts combine with a zesty fruitiness (peaches, nectarines) but at the same time are almost balanced by a dry, earthy flavor that could either be hops or yeast phenols/acids. It gave the impression of an American trippel, being otherwise quite clean and rather simplistic. Citrus rinds, pineapple and sweet white dough persist on the end, with a bit of alcohol warmth. Fine. Was expecting a lot worse based on the aroma. Not syrupy nor underfermented, despite the high level of maltiness.

Bottle , light gusher . Pours rather clear blonde , small white head . Smell is malty, sweet, grainy . Taste is bit bitter , green perfumyness , some sweetness , some hoparoma . Aftertaste is very perfumed . Not sure if its from the hops ? Aftertaste is sugary , sweet, hops, malty . ok

Beer brewed for a commissioner in Lier since 2008. Stable, sticky, snow white head, golden blonde colour. Modest aroma of sweetish pale malt, grassy hops, bread and green apple. Subdued fruity taste, bit peachy, strong carbonation, simple pils-like main taste, rather neutral, mild hop bitterness in the finish but unfortunately some solvents too. Not my cup of tea, at all.

Bouteille: Golden, hazy, minimalistic fluffy head, visible carbonation; moderate nose of honey and toasted malt; pretty sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; drier, hoppier and more alcoholic in the slightly lingering finish. O.K., but not too exciting…

33 cl. bottle sampled @ Gollem. Thx! Pours a hazy orange with a solid white head. Nose is slightly metallic with orange peel, other grains, touch alcohol and herbs. Taste is same faint metallic note, touch other grains, alcoholic caramel, slightly biter, touch grass, old exotic fruits. m/m body. Nothing bad but not entirely there either and dull fare at best that blends in with the others.
