Bottle from Drinks Vanuxeem, Ploegsteert, Belgium. Pours a hazy amber/brown colour with a medium to large sized thick throthy off-white head. Some sediment in the glass. Aromas of caramel, toffee, fruit cake, nuts and citrus orange. Taste is malty with more caramel, fruit cake and oranges, overripe fruit flavours and a bit toasty. Alcohol extremely well hidden. Thinnish body, gentle carbonation and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Pleasant and inoffensive. Not bad.

Faiblard.

Tasted in 2004: Orange color, a bit cloudy. Vanilla and orange aroma. Just a bit yeasty flavor with vanilla, cinnamon and orange. Not bad, even has a bit of complexity.

From the bottle. Fittingly amber with a frothy white head that lingers. Lots of spice up front in the aroma, followed by a mild yeastiness. Taste is sweet up front, rounded out by an ashy, cigarette smoke bitterness that stays fairly mild. Medium body, mild to average carbonation and a slightly watery texture. Okay overall.

At Modeste 2015. Pours muddy orange. Small white head. Smell is some unintense, sweet ambermalty mixture. Taste is bit bitter ( very mildly) with a sweet (sugary) back. Common, but not bad.
