Bottle @ Invasion U.S.A, Ulfborg 2013. Pours cloudy amber with a creamy head. Caramel, mild peach, grass and grain. Medium bodied. Very caramelly with a bitter finish. Clean but not much of an IPA.

Ulfborg weekend celebration of nothing in particular. Hazy amber with a small off-white head. Mild fruity and floral aroma on a malty background. Sweetish pils malt flavour with herbal and floral hops and a rather bitter finish

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy orange with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and moderate hoppy - citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. A bit too malty to be really good. 231113

Draft @ ML Fontainas.

Draught at Fontainas. Nose of caramel, raisin, chocolate, grass, some orange citrus. Nice base, seemingly of Munich malt. Flavor is chocolate, orange, grass. Nice, much like a dunkel that has been hopped up. Good chocolate and fruit flavors. Nicely maly. Not really much like a PA, but decent.

Courtesy of tderoeck. Sampled draft during Zwanze Day @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Ruby brown with a white head. Bitter hops in the nose, floral & herbal, drawn a bit out by malty sweetness. Taste is sweet, brown sugar, sticky malts, caramel, sweet spices, dominate with some light bitter herbs / grass hops in the back. Creamy malts body. To heavy on the malts & sweetness to be an IPA – as defined style by RB – & it is a beer that comes across as a bit confused & missing identify even if not a bad beer.

14/IX/13 - Zwanzeday! - on tap @ Moeder Lambic Fontainas (Brussels) - BB: n/a (2013-864)
Pale deep orange to red beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, adhesive. Aroma: bit fruity, smoky touch, apples, ripe fruits. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of strawberries, strawberry jam, red fruits, citrus, bit sourish, bubble gum, pretty bitter towards the end. Aftertaste: more red fruit jam, citrus, pretty weird and bitter ending. It's no IPA, as far as I can tell... still a decent beer, though.

On tap at Moerder Lambic Fontainas. Hazy russet colour lasting thick beige head. Hoppy aroma. Bit of sticky malt in the mouth. Almost slightly oxidised. It’s not cos the aroma is fresh. Settles down a bit. Still not sure about this. It’s a slightly creamy not very pale ale. Odd.
