Slightly hazy, golden colour, white head. Aroma of American hops, citrus, ginger, malts, quite fresh. Fresh malty flavour, light bitter. Malty light bitter finish.
Refreshing pilsener, nicely done.
(Draught @ Moeder Lambic, Italian Beer Festival. Thanks for sharing, tderoeck!)

3/VI/2012 - on tap as "Big Sister One Shot" @ Moeder Lambic, Italian Beer Festival (2012-584)

Clear dark yellow to light orange beer, big creamy off-white head, little stable, pretty adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, peaches, bit of sugar, yeast, yoghurt touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: citrus, yeast, some dairy, grassy bitter hops, some grapefruit. Aftertaste: grassy hops, little bitter, not really dry, some spices. Not bad for a Pilsener.

Draught Towering, yellowish head over fully cloudy yellow to orangeish beer. Quite spiced wholemeal bread, bit peppery-gingery. Strange nose - certainly for a Pilsner??? Again this strange, very peppery, and quite hopped flavour - not C-hops, neither real big EU hops... special. I again seem to get an impression as if ginger was added. Medium bodied, quite slick, and a pappery texture. One that is in fact better than the sum of its parts. Just... a Pilsener, Bohemian at that?

Draft @ Moeder Lambic Italian Beer Festival ’12.

25 cl. draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas // Italian Beer Festival // I was warned that this is a Bohemian Pilsner when I order this but I went in willingly, knowing what I was getting // (a) hazy amber with a white head // (s) floral hops, touch fruity, lovely fresh lager malt, quite heavy on the floral hops // (t) bitter floral, touch grass, light yeast & minor honey, fruit undercurrent, strong citrus zest finish // (b) easy going, easy to drink // don’t know much about the style but I do have an inkling that this is far from traditional but it is a nice one
