Light golden with adherent foam of a light cream color. The aromas are malty and fruity that can resemble a syrup percoca, balanced by a spicy and pungent ethyl.
The warmth is evident but it is well balanced by a decisive dryness that leaves the mouth clean and ready for another sip.

Pours orange with a lasting head.Nose shows floral and fruity esters, with lots of pear notes. Also some doughy Belgian yeast and distinct spicy phenols. Hits the mark style-wise.Flavours include more doughy yeast, spicy notes, higher alcohols, sweet light malt and ripe pears. The alcohol seems a little harsh though.Carbonation is excessive.

Bottle from Dranken Geers, Oostakker,Gent, Belgium, Friday 8th June 2012 consumed Saturday 23rd June 2012 Pours hazy amber with a white head. Very decent Tripel, if I tasted this blind I would be convinced it was Belgian. Nice spice and yeasty balance, sweet but not overly so. Good fullness of flavour, very nice. A6 A3 T8 P3 Ov15 3.5

Etwas alkoholischer Beginn. Mittelfeld kommen Zitrusnoten und Bananennoten auf. Sonst leider laff, die vorhandenen Aromen sind dafür übertrieben. Unrund. 13/8/9/8//8

Bottle from Birratrovo, Como
Cloudy deep blond color, with generous head, persistent. The aroma is fruity (plums), a bit soapy and yeasty. Dynamic mouthfeel, with sweetish malt flavor, light spices but also light soap; some fruits, and some yeast; it has a correct bitterness, with some alcohol perception in the end.
Good, but unclean and a bit chaotic.

Draft @ Moeder Lambic Italian Beer Festival ’12.

2/VI/2012 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: VII/13 (2012-569)

Cloudy dark orange beer, come chunks floating around, big creamy solid white head, stable, non adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, peaches, some band-aid, hay, dry, bit of paint, chemical. MF: good carbon, full body. Taste: sweet malts first, bit of sugar, fruity touch, then chemical and grassy bitterness, some grapefruit. Aftertaste: quite some spices, citrus, very dry bitter ending, alcohol is noticeable.

Draught at Ma Che. Estery nose, grassy, with peach, cereals. Flavor of stewed apricots, a bit of honey and mango, and peppery hops. Thick and heavy. Glowing Apricot color. A classic tripel, rich, estery, hoppy. Well done.
