At WTWBA. Dark amber red pour. Nose is dark fruits and sherry. The sherry and booze dominates, also get some cherry, vinegar, malt, leather, and raisins. Rich velvet palate. Boozy finish.

Dark brown colour, no head to speak of, white rim. Aroma of wine vinegar, molasses, light sherry in the background and wood. Rather sweet flavour, light sour touch, light sherry, molasses and soy sauce. Malty finish, finally some pronounced sherry, candy sugar and a light touch of wine vinegar.

75cl bottle sample @ RBBWG 2013, courtesy of Travlr.

Thanks to Travlr for sharing this one. 75 cl. bottle sampled @ RBBWG 2013. Pours brine / wine-like, no head. Smell is sour malt with plenty of wood, touch mocha / chocolate, typical USA brett / sour profile and sherry. Second sherry BA beer I am having, this is unquestionably better but still not really sold that sherry has the best barrels to use for beer but this is certainly not bad. Taste is sour USA brett profile, plenty of solid sour malts in the back, quite a bit of sherry, woody, chocolate, full, soft dark cherries, light roasted malts. Full sour malts / thinning body – neat. I can certainly appreciate this.

Sampled from bottle @ RBBWG 2013. Very dark almost black color, no head. Aroma has fruits and some liquor. Don’t like the taste. It’s slightly fruity but it has wet leaves and liquor with a lightly sour touch. Low to medium body and carbonation.
