We only use barley malt. That's why the beer is straw-colored. We grow the barley ourlselves, in order to guarantee the high quality. The sugars released during the brewing process are converted into alcohol in ten days at a temperature of 25°C. Then, the beer is stored at 0 to 5 °C so that it can rest and the multitude of tastes and flavours appear. This is a simple beer of malt, barley and hops. That's it! Good products, good skills and especially time make this unfiltered, slightly cloudy beer so delicious. It tastes a little bitter at the end due to the strong hops. You can taste our farm, Hof ten Dormaal, in it.

33cl bottle. A slightly hazy deep golden beer with a mid-sized most good lasting white head. Medium sweet malt and yellow fruits in the aroma, some belgian yeast. Taste of strong yellow fruits, strong pale malt, some grains, yeasty, a bit high carbonation.

375 ml bottle. Slightly unclear golden body with a huge, creamy white head. Mild spicy aroma with some malt and dry fruit. Flavor is quite sweet, fruity, light pale malt, spicy and low bitterness. Medium body and good in aftertaste. Quite straight forward beer really, but made with a very good balance and a sort of subtle complexity. Nice take on a rather dull style.

04.02.2016, 0,33l bottle sampled @ local tasting:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head, slightly hazy. Aroma is slightly sour-ish fruity, yeast, wheat, dried fruits, almonds, sour grass, weeds, wet hay, minerals. Taste is sour-ish harsh, weeds, sour grass, minerals, sour socks, almond essence, paper. Medium bitterness, sour-ish harsh mouthfeel. Crap (infected I guess...).

Bottle. Nose is funky, hints of banana, grass, surprisingly piquant malt note, herbal hops. Taste has a pleasing malt bite leading to soft fruity esters, with peach, banana, strawberry hints of melon, then a dry herbal finish with hints of pepperiness and corriander. Further sips bring out swathes of peach, and a little caramel. A beautifully balanced Belgian Blond, which is exceptionally drinkable if a little to heavy on the peach

(Bottle, Herman Belgian Bar, Berlin, 17 July 2015) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with peaches, tropical fruit and spicy hints of coriander. Malty, fruity taste with notes of peaches, tropical fruit, some white bread and a balanced spicy bitterness. A touch of alcohol in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made blonde. Nice one.
