On tap at St. Augustine’s. Pours a very hazy golden. Aroma and taste: fresh and clean, with tropical fruites and piney notes, flowers - very pleasant. Piney bitterness aftertaste. Very good.

Pours an amber from a can, frothy white head with lots of lacing. Big tropical/piney hop aroma, rather dank. Flavor starts to follow suit, but hoppiness is quickly displaced with a weird buttery caramel maltiness which then makes way for a thin bitterness with little flavor quality to it. A very disjointed IPA, surprised it’s rated so highly on RB. Meh.

Bottle sample @ RBBWG 2016, thanks Tim.

Can at RBBWG 2016 in Antwerpen. Clear, golden yellow with a white head. Fruity-grassy aroma of mango, passion fruit and some pine. Sweetish, fruity-grassy taste of lemon, mango and passion fruit, followed by a short, slightly bitter, grassy finish. Thin to medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Good!

Can thanks to Sarah! Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a nice light citrus note with some grass and a grain backbone. Flavor has more of a citrus bite with a bit of grass and a grain backbone.

Can, bought at Bierzwerg bottle shop, Greven. Yellow golden in the glass, mighty frothy off white head. Fruity hopy nose with wheat and some peppermint. Starts with hopy bitterness, less fruity, more dry malt and grainy, but balanced. Hopy bitterness in the middle part and aftertaste, maybe a little bit too overlasting. But in the end a nice composition.

Can from Tanakaya. From the can. Juicy grapefruit and pine resin on the nose. Lots of juicy citrus on the palate with pine. Bitter, but not overly so with some sweetness. Well balanced with the malt. Dry, finish with more bright citrus hops. --- Beer merged from original tick of Big Swell IPA on 15 Dec 2015 at 19:38 - Score: 8. Original review text: Traveller approved. Nice juicy IPA.

Pours slightly hazed deep gold into a tulip. White head with little retention recedes to nothing. Resin and tropical fruit aromas. Dry with sweet caramel and tropical fruit upfront turning to hot resin in the lasting finish.
