Bottled. A dark amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes roasted malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and straw, leading to a dry finish.

Bottle from Partizan brewery, Bermondsey, London. A dark brown/black coloured pour with a healthy beige head on top. Roasty, malty, chocolate aroma. Tastes similar, roasty, malty, chocolate. Quite rich and almost creamy. This was bloody tasty stuff, I’ll pick up some more next time I’m in SE16.

Opaque black - brown beer, good cream - tan head. Palate is slightly soft. Mild minerals. Tangy dark malts, medium strength. Tiny bit of roast and a whispers of coffee and lactose. Finishes fairly neutral with a pinch of ash. Decent porter but lacks the wow factor of the Stout.

Bottle from Bottle Shop Canterbury. Very dark brown beer lasting beige head. Roasty aroma. Some choc and coffee in flavour. Its fine. Bit of what I would call coal dust. Some juiciness. Some hop on finish. Its fine and quite complex. Just not my thing.
