Dark brown ale with a significant caramel touch in aroma. This is a mild, dry and drinkable beer with an end taste of toasted bread crust.

Bottle @Luppolo Station (Rome-Italy), thank you Fabio. Misty dark copper pour, medium beige foam. Nose: spirit, sour, wine. Mouth: a bit empty, boring tartness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Brown colour with a light tan head with good lasting and nice lacework. Aroma has notes of wood, some red fruits, some caramel and red wine. Flavor is sourish, wooden notes, wet clothes. Sour final with a good duration dominated by red fruits and red wine.

Tap at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas as part of my Pre-Wedding Celebrations. It pours very dark red, with a thick, bubbly beige head. The nose is red wine, vinegar, tangy fruit, caramel, liquorice and seed. The taste is wood, molasses, caramel, charcoal, tangy dark fruit - prune, plum, currant, cherry and fruit cake, with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Decent ale, but not as sour as hoped!

Tap at Moeder Lambic Fontainas. Light sour nose with a bit of wood. Light to medium sweet, certainly woody, mild fruits, dirt and grass. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Pretty dry to finish, some lightly burnt wood, mild sugars, light tang. Pretty good.

25 cl. draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas: dark mahogany almost going to black with a serious foaming (like dishwashing liquid in water) head, smell is touch wet clothes, rainwater mixed with some tart brown sugar sweetness, touch dark fruits & sweet tart malts, taste carries definitely elements of a sour ale but it is more sweet than sour despite the mustiness & tartness making me think of a faro more than anything else, a mixed beer according to the bartender, tart upfront, slightly musty mixed with tart cough syrup, sweet malt, brown fruits, sweet musty cellar, autumn leaves, brown sugar & lambic, despite the sweetness this is very much lambic-direction and not a sweetened one, body is slightly oily lambic, this is very odd, not really successful but I kind of got into it, very quaffable even if every sip makes you kind of go, wait what was that?

Draft @ Moeder Lambic, Fontainas. This is a beer with a lot of potential that sadly falls a little short of conquering my palate. That being said, it is impressive to see nice artisanal breweries coming out of Spain(...Catalonia I should say). Maybe that beer would have been better served hand pumped rather than regular tap.
