Bottle sample @ 2nd RBBSG, August 11th 2012. Courtesy of ThirstyBird.

Bottle thanks to swoopjones at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012. Gusher! It pours cloudy pink/rose, with a quickly dissipating head. The nose is funk, sharp tartness, grape/blueberry skin, wood, vanilla and almond. The taste is tart blueberry, lemon, Granny Smith apple, grape skin, juicy tartness and light wood, with a thirst-quenching tart finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Rather delicious.

11/VIII/2012 75cl bottle @ RBBSG - (2012-910) Thanks to ThistyBird for sharing the bottle!
Little cloudy copper red beer, no noticeable head. Aroma: bretta for sure, sourish, little fruity, some lemon, bit of chloride, some forest fruits. MF: lots of carbon, medium body. Taste: sourish, very lemony, sour start, little fruity, strawberry jam, little bitter, very spicy, peppery, hot peppers even. Did they put any type of peppers in this? Aftertaste: very dry, puckering sour, lemony endin.

Batch 2. Shared with some friends at our Blueberry extravaganza.
A - Golden orange appearance. Slight level of sediment. 1-finger head that subsided quickly.
S - I’m not getting any blueberry on the nose. Very funky wild scent. Horse blanket and funk. Some strawberry scent.
T - Wow. This is incredible. Amazing acetic taste that really exploded in my mouth. Very well balanced blueberry taste that is like others and very much characteristic of dry skin and intense sweetness. Once the beer breathes a bit, the blueberries really come forward.
M - 75% carbonation on the mouth swish. Medium body. HUGE dry grape skin
O - Very nice. 95/100. Really big blueberry taste, ultra dry grape skin mouth feel and fleeting sweetness. This is a terrific and very drinkable beer.

Bottle, Batch # E!032, shared by badnewsbeers. Murky, pulpy sediment-laden pink-brown papaya flesh body, thin off-white to cream head. Funky, sulfuric nose with blueberry, dust, and wet socks after the initial pour, becoming cleaner as it opens up. Tart body, funky and rather thin with subtle blueberry, in addition to cobwebs and dusty grassiness. Soapy and light. Pretty good but not exceptional.

8/12/11/11/12/12
