330mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma of candied apple, licorice, cough syrup and yeast. Flavour of overripe, acidic light fruits (white grape, apples, pears), floral spices - almost gingery, some perfume and yeast. Interesting take on the style, as this is anything but orthodox. Solid.

A hazed golden ale with a thick lacing frothy white head. In aroma, a smooth honey malt, grainy and smooth, grassy field. In mouth, a nice malty ale with smooth creamy notes, perfumy, light alcohol warmth, not bad. Bieropholie import, tasted May 12 2012.

Draught at Bir & Fud. Deep gold, cloudy, with a high, pillowy head. Malty, yeasty aroma with peaches and honey. Rather acidic flavor, peach and melon and alcohol. Very sweet, with stewed fruits in honey, orange, lemon, bread. Tasty but too sweet—could use more attenuation and hopping.

(Bottle, Monk’s Café Wallingatan, Stockholm, 13 Dec 2011) Hazy golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, candy sugar and spicy hops. Fruity, malty, slightly tart taste with citrus, tropical fruit, spicy hints of yeast and a slightly earthy bitterness. More than medium body, slightly sweet. Quite spicy and very nice.

Bottle. It forms a big, dense, off-white head over a semi-clear golden body. Sugar, hops and pale malts in the faintly spiced aroma. The alcohol isn’t missing either. In the flavor there’s sugars, hops, a touch of spices, a solid dose of fruityness and some bitterness. Full body, smooth, warming and nicely carbonated. More bitter in the end than initially. Overall, a quite pleasant one, although a bit on the sweet side. 120107
