Trying to recall where I had this. I think it must have been at Lortica, Bologna, 27.02.11 Pours hazy amber with a slight farmhouse/saison type nose more than a Tripel aroma. Soft in mouth, there is some vanilla and a furry bitterness, really nice. Been impressed with the Ducato beers that I’ve had thus far. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15

Bottled 750ml (BB 09/2011)
Hazy orange color, huge cloudy white head, lace. Citrus and pineapple in the nose. Medium-bodied. Hayish, perfumic hoppy, grassy, kind of alcoholic. Bitterish, spicey aftertaste. Fruity and hoppy, but not too balanced.

Bottled (thanks fonefan). Hazy orange colour, mediumsized beige foamy head. Aroma is slight wooden sourness, mild spices, fruits and quite strong maltyness. Flavour is quite much the same in a quite nice balance. Quite much caramelly and sweet toffeeish notes.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy orangey color ale with a large foamy head with great retention and some very good lacing. Aroma of fruity ester with a bready yeast and a well balanced lightly sweet Belgian-style malt backbone. Taste is also a nice mix between some nicely sweetness Belgian-style malt backbone and some fruity ester with a light spicy yeast finish. Body is full with limited filtration and good bottle-conditioning with great carbonation and no apparent alcohol. Very well brewed and something I would gladly have more often.

6th June 2010. RBESG 10 Grand Tasting at the Brasserie 4:20 warehouse. This bottle marked as 8.8% abv. Cloudy amber beer, a gusher! Thick foamy head. Soft palate. Honeyish malt, a litlle pepper. Finishes soft and dry. Interesting!
