Harking back to the Porters of mid 19th Century London, our Porter is brewed with a traditional malt bill of pale, brown and black malts to create a rich flavour and dark colour. This modern exploratory interpretation of a classic favourite is sure to age gracefully.

Draft at Churchkey thanks to solidfunk. Poured a dark brown, almost black, with a small wispy head. Aroma was roasted roasted roasted malts, some tobacco notes. Like 90% dark chocolate notes, some light smoke. Very roasted and bitter, but not heavy at all.

Bottle 330ml (AbM, ABV 7.0%)
Deep brown color, nice creamy brownish head. Aroma has toasted malty, chocolate, first impression was ashy. Medium-bodied, smooth palate. Roasted malty flavor, hints of alcohol, oily, dark chocolate but perhaps too much ashy "tobacco" for my liking. Some bitterness in the aftertaste. Quality brew anyway if you like burnt maltyness.
