Harking back to the Porters of mid 19th Century London, our Porter is brewed with a traditional malt bill of pale, brown and black malts to create a rich flavour and dark colour. This modern exploratory interpretation of a classic favourite is sure to age gracefully.

Süffig malziger, deutlich hopfiger Geschmack. Leicht brennend alkoholisch, dann wieder mehr Schokolade, leichte Herbe, sehr gut. 12/11/12/12/12/12

Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and dry. Modest carbonation. Tangy dry dark malts. Touches of lactose and dark chocolate. Earthy bitter coffee aftertaste after the dry finish. Standard porter done well.

Bottle at the brewery. It pours near black with medium tan head. The nose is earthy, roasty, treacle, dark chocolate, rocky road and nuts. The taste is rich, roasty, toast, earth, dark chocolate, decent bitterness, coffee, mild acidity and peppery with a dry, roasty finish. Medium+ body and fine carbonation. Rich and flavoursome. Very nice.
