50 cl. bottle poured in to a Weizen glass. Dark brown colour with a huge, off-white head. Fruity aroma with caramel and wheat malts, sweet fruits, light coffee and chocolate. Less yeasts and banana notes than in the German originals. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes slightly dry with sweet fruits and toasted notes. A bit odd - still a nice beer.

Sampled @ Cardinal. Close to black body with a fine, dense beige head. Rather mild aroma of toasted malt, dry fruit and hint of banana. Flavor is quite sweet, dark malt, toast, wheat with hint of banana. Medium body and medium aftertaste. Quite nice, but nothing really extra and easy to forget.

Bottle @ Rene’s house. Thanks! Hazy, orangish brown appearance with a light brown head. Dull bready, straw, fairly spicy yeasty, mild fruity, apple aroma. Tangy fruity, pretty spicy yeasty, toasty bread/cracker/wheat malty flavor with a fairly bland finish. Not bad but kind of boring.

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Will also be available on tap there. ABV is 5.2%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Huge beige head. The aroma is malty and moderately roasty with notes of coffee, brown bread and chocolate, also the expected wheaty notes of cloves and banana. The flavour is sweet and malty, moderate roasty notes and brown bread again, some caramel and chocolate, hints of banana and cloves. Roasty finish, very moderate hops. Best served cold.
