Fra flaske på Cardinal. Svart hveteøl med smak av syrlig kaffe og anelse karamell. Hint av solbær og lakris når temp stiger. God, men vil neppe kjøpe den.

Bottled, thanks fonefan! Very dark brown, fizzy head. Lactic yeasty nose. Sweetish with clean, hard mouthfeel. Overcarbonated with some metal and notes of strawberry and bubblegum. Baking yeast comes through in a finish with slight lemony acidity.

50 cl bottle @ Gastropub Nordic. Rated on 25.04.2011
Aroma has some bready malt, caramel and hints of chocolate. Flavour is somewhat stale with bread, raisins and caramel. Not your typical Dunkelweizen, but some elements from that style do exist.

Bottle, at Ølfestival 2011. It’s a brown beer, topped by a dense, beige head of fingerthick size. The aroma is roasted and chocolatey, with notes of bonfire. Roasted, malty flavor with a faint touch of chocolate. Some malty sourness too. Roasted finish with chocolate. Medium to full body, smooth on the palate. Pity the aroma is the best part of this beer, but it’s far from bad anyway. 110528

50 cl. bottle@my beertasting – sample: dark brown with a mocha head, taste is sweet with lots of caramel, dark malts (slightly roasted), sweet creamy wheat, milk chocolate, touch of darker chocolate, cloves cinnamon & brown sugar, lovely much better than the ratings would suggest

KØ11. Aroma of Dunkelweizen. Cloudy dark brown colour. Small head. The flavour starts off a little wheaty, later turns rather watery.
