Good, creamlike, slowly collapsing head, remaining reasonably stable and leaving lace over hazed orange beer. Hoppy & cakey nose, grapelike hops and a pinch of sulphur. Bitter and very fruity flavour (grapefruit, passionfruit, muscatgrape), ending on pure hopoils. Quite carbonated, medium bodied at least, oily-slick. This must be some dose of N.S. to get this result, I think of N.S. as of subtle... Many thanks to Stef!

Bottle at Hasselt Beer Festival, Hasselt, Limburg, Belgium 12.11.11 in company of Loz, Jackie, Simon and David. POurs orange/gold, grapefruity and also tropical flavours zip about with this beer but I also get a slight sicky streak in the mouth, bile? Soft on the tongue, with a pleasant warmth. Its a good beer but I prefer the Cascade version. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.5

Bottle thanks to Joes at ‘Zieke Zuiden Tasting II’. Clear orange color, decent sized white head that diminishes quickly. Smell hops and bitter, but also way too malty. Taste bitterness and hops. A lot more bitterness than the ‘Single Hop Cascade’. Decent but not great. Decent carbonation, medium body.

75 cl bottle from Pluto. Cloudy orange with a high head. Pretty. Nice hoppy nose, fragrant and fruity, tropical, with mango, sweet orange. Rather sweet flavor, with a bit of honey, cat piss, sweat. Full and nice body. Good stuff.

8/12/11/12/11/12

bottle@my beertasting – sample: this one is pretty big surprise, an American-style IPA made by Proefbrouwerij for a big Belgian supermarket, considering that pretty much no one makes IPA’s in Belgium & that no one knows what an IPA is, I really didn’t saw this one coming, expected even less for it to actually be a good IPA which it is, limited to 4000 bottles, clear amber orange with a white head, smells pretty fruity with pineapple, grapefruit, citrus & even a hint of cheese in there, bitter & sweet grapefruit in the taste, nice little hop bomb, pretty much what you would expect from a single hop beer, very round taste & bitterness with some malt underneath, citrus, almost unnoticeably mixed with something herbal in the end
