330ml bottle from Asda - Hazy gold with a short lived head. Not as clovey as expected, still comes through with a sweeter fresher banana kick, yeasty, plenty to enjoy.

Hazy golden beer, white head. Flavour doesn't have a lot going on really. Bit of banana, some hop, a little spice. It's fine but nothing remarkable.

Bottle. Hazy golden body with a white head. No visible carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of foam bananas, orange pith and custard creams. Flavour of Rich Tea biscuit and sweet pear. Thin to medium body with a smooth texture. Very soft fizz. Simple, fine.

33cl bottle from Waitrose, Sunningdale. A deep amber pour with an immediately vanishing white head - unlike any hefeweizen I've ever tried; some banana and clove aroma; but a rather less specific spicy taste; levaing the mouth dry. I don't the German's have much to fear from this - Germanicum Caput indeed.

On keg at Lebowskis. Appearance - hazy golden. Nice head. Looks more like a kristallweizen. Nose - light banana and malt. Creamy. Taste - as with the nose. Light banana. Palate - close to medium bodied, creamy. Clean finish. Overall - looks and drinks more like a kristallweizen. But decent.
