bottle@’t Waagstuk (50 cl.): my first beer in this style, cloudy yellow/wheat colour with egg white head, plenty of soft wheat, heavy emphasis on cloves, maybe a touch of coriander too, taste is very soft, it is not bad, easy to drink and refreshing but I didn’t get much in the way of flavour and certainly no complexity, not sure what to make of this, it is ok I suppose/// tried it again, liking it quite a bit more this time around, rated it a bit higher

Bottle. Pored into a Weizen. Dirty, hazy yellow with a towering white head. It did have lacing until the end. Aroma is yeast and wheat with the expected lemon, weak cloves and a hint of banana - also has some tropical fruits (lychee, passionfruit). Taste has the usual sweet and sour flavors with the balance decidedly towards sweet. No real tang at the finish. I didn’t expect much, which was good. Very average for a German Hefe.

Bottled. An unclear dark golden beer with a dense white head. The aroma has strong notes of wheat and banana as well as medium notes of cloves. The flavor is very sweet with notes of wheat, cloves, and banana, leading to a dry wheaty finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.
