*Old rating from 2012. Nettes typisches Golden-Ale mit interessantem aber etwas neutral-bitterem Hopfen. Süffig mit typischen Ale-Aromen und moderater Süße. Nett.

Blonde, soft haze, frothy white head, some lacing
Aroma of soft citrus, some dull lemon
Taste of soft citrus zest, light lemon, soft pale malts, some creamy malts
Palate - Medium light body, light creamy, soft sweet, soft bitter zest. Finish as main flavour, creamy, slight bitter minerals in linger I’m not keen on
Overall - Quite creamy this golden ale. Better than the bottled version.

Cask at the Hog & Partridge, St Neots. Pale gold, clear, a bit of loose white head. Light aromas of lemon and candy sugar. Bittersweet taste, with lovely floral (and less lovely buttery) overtones. Slight bitterness in the short finish. Palette has a little bit more body than I expected. Good enough.
