The first fruits of our Tryanuary brewday, this is Tonkoko like you haven't seen her before! Coming in at a mighty 10.6% and (of course) with even more coconut, tonka, chocolate and vanilla. Boozy, indulgent and so good. Very limited quantities, this is a sneak peek before the barrel aged versions are unleashed next year.

Can, gift from Sam. Black body with a tight beige head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of nuts, milk chocolate and tonka bean. Flavour of creamy chocolate and umami. Medium to full body with a chewy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A rich and dangerously drinkable beer.

Can at Café De Grendelpoort, Valkenburg. 2024 vintage. Tonka and coconut upfront with chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, fudge, touch of coffee. Mild to medium bittersweet. Its body ranks as medium to full. Lovely.

Can@Zinc Craftbar, Vasa. Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is chocolate, some liqourice, tonka beans, mild vanilla and some coocnut to it as well. Flavour is chocolate, vanilla, coconut, mild alcohol sweetness with some liquorice and mild toasted and nutty tones as well. Nicely in balance. Has the mellowness/gentleness of a UK Imp Stout.
