Citra hops to the fore give tropical hop notes and aromas of lime and passion fruit with a refreshingly long aromatic finish.

Handpull cask at the Chequers, Grantham. Light gold with a token amount of loose white head. Citrus and tropical fruit aromas with just enough of a touch of sticky resin to give it some added character. Bittersweet initial taste, but this becomes noticeably more bitter toward the finish. And the finish is bitter indeed. Pineapple in the aftertaste but there is also just enough butter to mark it down a notch. Flawed but decent; I’d not object to having another if I wasn’t on a ticking spree...

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 25/8/2015. Pale gold, with a slight, white, head that left rings of lace down the glass. Light citrus and stone fruits notes, with some grassy hops and solid malts, before a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Appearance: Clear golden color with a fine thick white head. Ok lacing..
Aroma: Caramel malty, mild fruity, some yeast and mild herbal hoppy.
Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Caramel malty, herbal, mild fruity and light citric hoppy.
Overall impression: Some unpleasant notes probably because of dirty tap line.
Personal stats: On tap at Hamilton Hall (JDW) Liverpool Street Station in Bishopsgate/London, England

Cask handpull at County Hotel Ashford jdw. Clear gold lasting white head. Grassy hoppy beer. Carbonation would suggest getting to end of the barrel. Dry bitter finish. OK flavours. Decent pale ale.

Cask @ Turls Green, Bradford. Golden with a small creamy head. Aroma is quite ordinary for its name with a balanced hop-malt character throughout the ale. There’s some sweetness in its nose.
